Our Horses at Beverly Farm

Chance is a chestnut miniature horse gelding that was born on the property in 2003. He is therapeutically trained to assist riders in the grooming sessions that the program runs. He has a curious nose and loves to be brushed.

Cheyenne is a miniature horse mare that is 13 years old and has lived at the Arena since she was a 2 year old. She is brown dapple gray in color and has a distinct feature - she only has one eye. She was kicked when she was only 4 years old, but has adapted well and loves all of the people who come to visit. The program utilizes her for the grooming class and presentations to schools and businesses.

Otis is a miniature horse gelding and is black in color. He was donated to the program in 2000. He is 12 years old and was donated to the program. He is utilized for the grooming class and his best feature is his pomp hairdo that he gets with his mane.

Indiana Jones is an Appaloosa gelding and he is 27 years old. He came to live at the Arena in 1994. Don’t let his age fool you - he still loves being utilized for riding lessons and is known for being the gentle giant of the barn.

Pearl is a black Hackney/Tennessee Walker breed mare. She came to live at the Arena in 2006. That gives her a little body with a big mind. She is 18 years old and loves to help teach the little kids how to ride.

Red Rock is a blood bay Quarter Horse who is 14 years old. He arrived at our Arena 7 years ago. He is a great horse for those who are learning how to ride or those who are at the Intermediate level.

Shadow is a black Arab cross gelding. He was donated to the Arena in 2005 and is 25 years old. He is a great smaller horse to help the kids learn their fundamentals.

Sasha is a registered Arabian mare who is blood bay in color. She arrived at the Arena in 2004 and is 20 years old. She is peppy and sweet and loves to get the attention from all of the riders at the barn.

Scarlett is a Paint mare who is 12 years old. She was donated to the program in 2003 and has fit in well with the lesson sessions. She has an expressive look on her face that shows her blue eye off well.

Zamboui, or Boo for short, is a Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred mix breed gelding. He is a dark bay in color and is 25 years old. He came to live at the Arena 9 years ago. He is trained Western and English and has a wonderful sense of how to help our riders achieve their best.
